How It Works
How To Use TheO by Cloud Nine
The O is relativley simple to use, but if you are use to using conventional heated rollers heres a few tips that may help and help you use The O to its full advantages.
The O heats up rollers quickly, because of this preparation is key for success in using The O. The O's rollers cannot be reheated until the red dot at the end of each roller shows cool. So its important to have everything ready in place and have a good idea of the type of style you want to achieve before you start. You may want to practice with cold rollers first just to get a feel of your hair and the rollers to see what style you want to create.
Start by setting up the O pod on a flat surface easy to hand. Then layout the o hair rollers in the sizes you wish to start with leading upto bigger sizes make sure everythings close to hand.
Take a sectioning comb and take a section of hair; by section we mean a width of hair that the roller is going to be used in. To make this easier use a volumising spray or blow dry spray to make the hair fit more together and be managed more easily by hand. This section can be as wide as the roller you are using but for ease of use look to take about a third of each roller width per hair section
Once you have the hair section ready drop your required roller into the pod wait for the beep, collect out, starting from the bottom of the hair roller up from the base of the roller up onto the scalp. The roller will heat in the hair and alongside the pre-applied product will gradually heat up and stay in the hair.
Repeat this process for each roller, do not reheat the rollers as this can cause damage instead leave the roller to cool and opt for a new one.
Leave in for 20-30mins after apply a salon hairspray after removing the rollers to hold the style in place.
Tips:
~ Be prepared first have an idea of your style and want you want to do even try a dry style beforehand
~ Don't worry about getting it right first time, first time anythings fiddley until you get the hang of it
~ If you are struggling try start with smaller sections to get the hang of the rollers
~ Finish with a hairspray after the rollers are removed
Cleaning
Hairsprays are difficult to remove and attract dirt due to their adhesion hairspray can be removed by washing lightly with a little washing up liquid and a damp cloth leave the curlers to dry naturally in a warm place.
